- Jjuuko currently plies his trade with Simba in Tanzania
- Like Aucho, the defender was also recommended to the club by Cranes Coach, Micho

Less than two days after confirming Uganda Cranes midfielder Aucho Khalid as their player, Red Star Belgrade also targets another Ugandan.
The player in the equation is Ugandan defender Murushid Jjuuko who plies his trade with Tanzania giants, Simba SC.
According to the Managing Director of the Serbian club Zvezdan Terzic, it’s not just Aucho but also Jjuuko and he also admits all the recommendations were done by Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic.
“On the recommendation of Micho Sredojevic, we followed Aucho and defender Murushid Jjuuko,” he is quoted in the local daily, “The Evening News’.
“And both of them showed quality. Negotiations about Aucho end well in the window but the defender will not come because we were unable to agree with his club. But we continue to follow up.
Jjuuko has a been a pillar in the Cranes backline since Micho took charge and was among the best performers for the national team in Gabon 2017 despite missing the first encounter through suspension.
It remains to be seen whether the defender, who allegedly hasn’t returned to Tanzania since the end of Afcon will join his compatriot in Serbia.
