If there is one man who will keep trying on every adventure, it’s SC Villa president Ben Immanuel Misagga.

On Wednesday, he signed a three-year deal on behalf of the record league champions, SC Villa with a Dubai Marketing Agency, The Independent Affiliates FZ (LLC).

Misagga revealed to the press that the agreement aims at selling SC Villa players to bigger clubs and also market the club in mainly Europe (Scandinavian countries) and Middle East.

“As usual, we are here to bring good news to Ugandan football and also show that SC Villa wants to take football to greater heights,” said Misagga.

Purpose of the partnership is to sell our players and market the club in mainly Europe, Middle East and the Scandinavian countries. We have signed a contract of three years with probation of six months and Jens will be our sole agent in those countries.

On behalf of the company, Jens Leidewall, a football agent said he became close to Ugandan football a couple of years ago when he took Farouk Miya to Sweden.

“My close contact with Ugandan football started a few years back when I personally took Miya (Farouk) to Sweden while 16,” started Jens. “He did well then and from then, I discovered there are talents in Uganda and decided to come down here,” he added.

Jens, who is also the agent of Express and Uganda Cranes midfielder Ibrahim Saddam Juma, just like Misagga believes the partnership will bear fruits.

For starters, many European clubs have had a relationship with African football but not in Uganda and we want to see this change.

Besides selling players, the company is expected to ensure SC Villa partners with top clubs especially in the Scandinavian countries with teams, coaches and players of such clubs visiting the club.

It’s not the first time the record league champions are getting into under such partnerships.

They did so, allegedly with Al Wasl FC in Dubai under the leadership of Fred Muwema and a couple of years ago, Misagga signed a partnership with Spanish Raffael but none bore fruits.
