Youngster Allan Okello was the highlight of the game as KCCA annihilated visiting Onduparaka 7-0 at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

The debutant scored a hat trick while Paul Musamali, Robert Ssentongo and Geoffrey Sserunkuma all got on the score sheet in a one sided encounter.

Okello set the stadium alight with a brilliant finish from inside the area after Muzamiru Mutyaba’s ball was left un-cleared by the Onduparaka defence.

Eight minutes later, he turned provider with a chip that beat the entire defence and Ssentongo made no mistake to slot home with an offside trap beaten.

In the 22nd minute, Musamali who started ahead of Timothy Awany headed home off a corner from Mutyaba.

As if that wasn’t enough, the youngster got his second on the day with another cute finish after he beat the offside trap to slot home as KCCA deservedly took a 4-0 lead into recess.

By then, Coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi of Onduparaka had already made two changes.

Isaac Kirabira replaced Ivan Ntege at the start of the second half and despite KCCA dominance; the visitors resisted another goal until the 65th minute when Sserunkuma got on to the scoresheet with his 11th goal of the season.

A minute later, Ssentongo completed his brace with a cheeky finish and Okello completed his hat trick with nine minutes to the final whistle.

The win sees KCCA open a four point lead over rivals SC Villa who sit second on the log as they are now on 38 points despite playing a game less.

The Caterpillars remain third on the log with 29 points despite the loss and travel to Nakivubo on Tuesday for the duel against Police while KCCA will return to league action on March 3 against The Saints in Matugga.
