Whatever ‘charm’ was used on the 2017 Africa Rally Championship, it’s indeed for the better and should stay for as long as the competition exists.
Uganda’s three-time rally champion Jas Mangat is the latest inclusion to crews that will take part in this year’s Africa series.

Despite revealing challenges in the competition, with lack of logistics and the tight commitment and hindrances, the Pili Pili Rally Team is keen on a return after making an entry on Friday.
Mangat last featured in the series in 2013. He took the runner’s up after losing the title to Zambia’s Jassy Singh.
He has previously registered for the 2008 and 2009 series.
Mangat will now drive the ARC journey with 2016 NRC co-driver champion Joseph Kamya in a Mitsubishi Evo X.
