The 2017 Africa Rally Championship continues to show signs of a great competition with crew entries climbing up to seventeen (17). Entries close on April 30th.

Duncan Mubiru, commonly known as ‘Kikankane’, becomes the latest Ugandan to enter this year’s Africa Rally Championship contention.

The crew confirmed their participation with an entry last Friday.

With George Semakula as the co-driver, the team is set to debut as an ARC crew in next month’s Kenya Safari Rally.

Mubiru joins Chritakis Fitidis, Yasin Nasser, Hassan Alwi, Jas Mangat and Abdu Ssepembwa among the drivers to represent Uganda on ARC.

Mubiru is likely to use the second round of Uganda National Rally championship in Kabale to prepare for a bigger battle in Kenya.

Mubiru has featured in several ARC rounds in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda as a guest, but his speeds are by far outstanding.
