CAF referees’ department named the officials who will handle the Confederation Cup first round ties between Uganda’s Vipers SC and South Africa’s Platinum Stars.
Referees from Lesotho will handle the first leg in Uganda (whose venue is yet to be confirmed) while referees from Swaziland will handle the second leg at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in South Africa on the 18th February 2017.
Vipers ejected Comoros side Volcan Club Moroni in the preliminary round on away goals rules following a 1-1 draw in Comoros. The first leg had ended 0-0 t Namboole.
