Kenya vs Uganda | International Friendly match – 22nd March, 2017
Kenya Football Federation (KFF) has confirmed the international friendly match between the Harambee Stars and Uganda Cranes in March.
The match will be played on 22nd March 2017 at either Moi International Sports Complex in Kasarani or Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, depending on availability.
Kenya and Uganda last met in a friendly match played at Namboole in August 2016 with the game ending 0-0.
The two countries start their chase for places in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in June 2017.
Uganda Cranes’ last international friendly match was that goal-less draw at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole late last year.
Uganda Cranes’ head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic will soon name the team squad at a press conference in the coming weeks.
This will be Uganda’s first match since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
