FUFA Big League (Thursday Results):
- Entebbe 0-1 Baza Holdings
- Nyamityobora 2-0 Kireka United
- Water 2-2 Airtel-Kitara
- Synergy – Boma Young (Boma Young failed to travel to Masaka)

Michael Majwega scored a wonderful free-kick as visiting Baza Holdings pipped Entebbe Football Club at their own Fisheries Training Institute grave yard in Bugonga, Entebbe.
Majwega incidentally scored against a side that he once passionately served when the club was in the top flight league before it suffered relegation.
The free-kick followed a foul on the largely enterprising Samson ‘Abbey’ Mutyaba who was a complete thorn in the flesh of Entebbe.
The goalkeeper, who last season played at Simba F.C (in the first round) beat fellow goalie Steve Tabu with a well calculated but powerful shot from 35 yards as he has now underlined goal scoring as his habit.
Entebbe had several chances to make the score even and could have buried it off had second half substitute, Martin Sseruwagi and Abraham Ndugwa carried their scoring boots on the day.

It was a baptism of fire for Entebbe new coach Joseph Mutyaba who handled the club in his first full game since completing the switch from Eastern Uganda boarder town club, Busia Fisheries.
Elsewhere, Nyamityobora edged visiting Baza Holdings 2-0 in Mbarara.
Former Uganda U-17 star striker cum winger Charles Ssebutinde and robust center forward Faizo Muwawu were on mark for Charles Lukula Ayiekho’s coached side.
Hoima based side, Boma Young failed to travel to Masaka Recreational Stadium where they were due to face Synergy.
Another Hoima based side, Airtel Kitara earned a point away from home in the 2-2 draw with Water at Kyambogo West End playground.
Baron Mwesigwa and Moses Tumusiime got the opening two goals for the visitors inside the first 5 minutes of the game.
Airtel-Kitara had earlier beaten Water 5-1 in Hoima during the first round.
The FUFA Competitions department will pronounce themselves on the development.
The Big League will resume on Saturday with eight matches.
Three clubs shall be promoted to the top flight league by the close of business in May.
The top side per group (Rwenzori and Elgon) earns direct promotion.
