KCCA will face National Division side, Pretoria University in a warm up days before playing against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League Kawowo Sports reliably reports.

The Ugandan champions face off against the PSL and African champions in the first leg of the Africa’s biggest club competition on Saturday, March 11 but a friendly against the AmaTuks awaits them on Tuesday March 7.

David Tamale, the club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) confirmed the friendly and hopes the game will give them a good test.

“We are delighted with the response from Pretoria,” he said. “We hope the match provides a good test for the boys in preparation for the big one against Sundowns,” he added.

According to impeccable sources, Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has been a key figure in securing the friendly for Mike Mutebi’s charges who are expected to fly out of the country on Monday.

AmaTuks, coached by former Bafana Bafana striker Shaun Bartlet are 5th on the log in the 2016/17 National Division with 29 points after 19 games.

The aggregate winner between KCCA and Sundowns will qualify for the lucrative group stages of the competition.
