More than eight hours after KCCA and Onduparaka FC released statements on the ‘death’ of the mother of their players, Brian Majwega and Ivan Mbowa respectively, she has been found alive.
The mother to both midfielders was pronounced dead on Wednesday night but in a turn of events, Majwega revealed the mother was still alive despite spending hours in the mortuary at a yet to be named hospital.
The KCCA attacker posted on his Facebook Timeline on Thursday morning
“Morning friends and family. Am here by to inform u that the information which was passed yesterday about the death of our beloved mother due to God’s grace and love she has been found alive in the mortuary. I thank everyone who has been with me in this saddest moment and may God bless everyone. #God is good.
Onduparaka, where his brother Mbowa plays also posted a similar statement on their Facebook Page.
“We have some good news!
Yesterday Onduparaka FC and KCCA FC where both Mbowa Ivan and His brother Majwega Brian play were informed about the passing of his mother whose body was at the mortuary. Hospital officials confirmed a few minutes ago that she still had some breath and have decided to move her to intensive care. We have received apologies from his family for the mishap in communication. The two clubs continue to monitor her condition and will inform you of any developments herein. Continue to pray for her. We are hoping for the very best. Thanks for your continued support.
