Hamburg Hurricanes 4-0 Osterbek

Hamburg Hurricanes condemned Osterbek 4-0 as the second round of the Germany 5th division league got underway.

Scottish striker Sholto West scored the opener as Guillaume Hounsome’s charges took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break at the Oberalster V.F.W stadium.

West returned to scoring business as the second half resumed before two further strikes from John Callum Sutch and Irish man Padraig Scullly ensured maximum points for the Hamburg Hurricanes.

Ugandan Moses Mpiriirwe marked his debut as he was introduced in the 65th minute of the game.

Mpiriirwe replaced Danish national, Jesper Damgaard as he marked his debut in Germany after signing in the break.

The Ugandan is glad to have made his debut in Germany as he testified to Kawowo Sports;

We had a great game plan and we did exactly Guillaume and Tom told us (Coaches) told us. There is a very positive attitude within the team as well, we hope to win a lot of games

Hamburg Hurricanes will play away to Lemshal II on Sunday, 5th March 2017 in their next fixture.

The Hurricanes are currently 2nd on the 15 team log with 35 points.

Only two clubs are promoted directly to the league above as the third side is engaged in a promotional playoff.
