Elgon Group:

Rwenzori Group:

  • Hope Doves Vs Mbarara City – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku
  • Masavu Vs Kataka – Katabi Gombolola ground
  • Airtel Kitara Vs Synergy – Boma Play ground

The FUFA Big League returns on Saturday with five games.

Bottom placed Kataka FC from Mbale is away to Masavu at the Katabi Gombolola playground in Entebbe.

Kataka traveled on Friday and had a chance to train at Katabi later in the evening.

Coached by Nimrod Kintu, Kataka targets maximum points from the game if their fight against relegation is to be taken seriously.

Kintu expects to line up an attack minded side led by Peter Lusimbula, Derrick Onyai and Daniel Mugwanya.

“We need maximum points because at the moment we are not safe,” Kintu told Kawowo Sports.

Masavu, fresh from the 5-1 away victory against Igombe in the Uganda Cup last Tuesday is determined to fight for the best home result.

Kenneth Tumusiime, Charles Odeke, Onesmas Andama, Ddumba Sadala and Peter Lumolo are some of the players the home side, coached by Allan Kabonge Kivewala will dwell upon.

Masavu’s last match in the Big league was the 4-0 humiliation at the Kakyeka Stadium by Mbarara City.

There are other games on the day, Airtel Kitara hosts Synergy in Hoima, Busia Fisheries play Paidha Black Angels at the Madibira Playground in Busia as Sporting United hosts Kyambogo at the Lango Sports Ground in Lira.

Three clubs shall be promoted to the Azam Uganda Premier League next season.
