Less than a day after axing George Lutalo, Soana have named Alex Isabirye Musongola as their new coach, Kawowo Sports reliably reports.

The former SCOUL and SC Villa striker, who has been out of job since resigning at Kirinya Jinja SS, has reportedly been given a two year deal.

Isabirye, a winning coach with SC Victoria University and URA becomes Soana’s fourth coach in the 2016/17 season.

At the start of the campaign, Charles Ayiekoh handled the team but a disagreement with club boss, Obed Smart saw him leave the club after just one game.

Sam Ssimbwa took over but the reigns at the Kavumba based side but he left after the first round with George Lutalo, who had been in charge of JMC Hippos taking over.

After just five games in charge in all competitions and 60 days in charge, Lutalo faced the wrath of the axe and now Isabirye takes over.

Soana currently lie 6th on the 16-team log with 25 points and Isabirye’s first game will be against former paymasters, URA.
