Daniel Isiagi Opolot scored twice on Tuesday at the Phillip Omondi Stadium as Proline ascended sixth in the Uganda Premier League with a 4-2 thumping of relegation bound JMC.

The hosts did not have to wait long for the opener as Isiagi, scorer of the first goal in the sides’ first meeting this season, led the beating with his fifth minute goal before adding the second in the 22nd minute.

In between the two strikes, Walter Bankene was on target to briefly give JMC who stay win-less in the league some hope.

On form striker Nelson Ssenkatuuka then tripled the advantage in the 44th minute before David Owori, appearing on the score sheet for the second time this season netting in stoppage minute of the first stanza to see off the bottom side in the first half.

Mustafah Mugoya scored JMC’s second in the 65th minute but only passed for a consolation as damage was already done.

The loss, JMC’s 12th thus far leaves them bottom of the table with 8 points.
