After their arrival in Pretoria Tuesday evening ahead of their CAF Champions League tie with Mamelodi Sundowns, KCCA FC conducted their first training session on Wednesday morning at the Tshwane University of Technology.

The Kasasiro take on the Masandawana in the first leg of the pre-group round on Friday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium and midfielder Paul Mucureezi expressed confidence ahead of the game after the training session.

He told the club website: “We have trained well. Everyone is focused and ready for the game

“The weather is good and we are getting used to the whether here and I do not think it will affect us in any way because it is almost similar to than in Uganda”

Mucureezi, usually deployed as a wide man, is not in any way bothered by playing under floodlights.

“Playing on floodlights is not a big deal because most of the players have had a chance to play under floodlights before. There is no difference with day light because you see the ball and opponents clearly, so we are not worried at all”
