About the Mama Becca Cup:

This is the 5th year running that this football tournament is being played.

It is being played annually in memory of former Express die hard fan, Becca ‘Mama Becca’ Kazibwe, one of the pioneers and advocate for women football in Uganda.

Mama Becca, as she was fondly known across the divide remains one of the most passionate and charismatic football fans to grace the field of play in Uganda.

The tournament has grown through leaps and bounds. It remains one of the most awaited for events on the annual calendar of the FUFA Women programme.

It entails the different age categories of U-12, U-15, U-18 and the open category where schools, clubs and institutions are free to take part.
