Whether you are a fan of basketball, football, motorsport or any other sport, you are probably aware of the increasing popularity of betting within the community of sports fans.

Many get involved in sports betting with the hopes of making some extra money on the side and some as an additional way to have sports related fun.

And for Ugandan Rally fans, the latter is true. It’s just another way to have sports related fan.

As Duncan ‘Kikankane’ Mubiru was racing to net his first win since 2015 in Kabale last weekend during the Gorillas in the Mist Rally, a section of fans were being involved in some unusual betting.

Naturally, a bet would be on who the even winner will be or at the very least who will make it to the podium.

However, the fans in Kabale went to as far as betting on tyre lines (basically where the car tires would roll) and the stakes were even more ridiculous…
