George ‘Best’ Nsimbe’s false start to his Tusker coaching career continued as the side were trounced 5-2 by Nzoia United on the kickoff of the 2017 Kenya Premier League.

Nsimbe, who is yet to win a competitive match with the Brewers in four games now saw his side take a lead through Noah Wafula after nine minutes but Elvis Rupia levelled matters for the newly promoted side eleven minutes later.

Edwin Wafula put the visitors, coached by former SC Villa striker Bernard Mwalala in the lead for the first time in the 41st minute but Ugandan international, Shafik Batambuze ensured the first half ended level with a goal at the stroke of half time.

In the second half, Brian Otieno double and Boniface Omondi gave the visitors at the Afraha stadium the much needed three points on return to KPL.

Nsimbe’s compatriot, Paul Nkata began his career at Bandari with a slim 1-0 victory over Nakumatt in Mombasa.

Enock Agwanda scored the all-important goal for the Coastal side in a game Musa Mudde featured.

Elsewhere, Gor Mahia won 3-1 away to Kariobangi Sharks, Posta Rangers won 1-0 against Zoo Kericho, Mathare United beat Thika United 3-2 while Sony Sugar were beaten 1-0 by Chemelil Sugars.
