CAF Confederation Cup: 1st Leg – Vipers (Uganda) 1-0 Platinum Stars (South Africa)

Vipers Sports Club head coach, Jorge Miguel Da Costa has challenged his charges to take the return leg of their CAF Confederation cup with the due seriousness as in the first leg at St Mary’s Kitende last Saturday.

Barely a fortnight at his job after taking over from Richard Wasswa;

To me, the game is still at the half way mark.

We travel to South Africa to complete the second half and we have the ability to do it.

I told you i am here to win

Da Costa hailed the performance of his players on the day during the first leg and also saluted the fans whom he described as supportive and special.

We had a supportive and special crowd behind us throughout the match.

I thank them in a special way. The players gave their own throughout the match and were exceptional.
