CAF Confederation Cup (2nd Leg):
- Platinum Stars Vs Vipers (Vipers lead on aggregate 1-0)
- At Royal Bafokeng Stadium – Rustenberg, South Africa

Vipers Sports Club captain, Nico Wakiro Wadada is optimistic his club will perform well away from home in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup first round against South Africa’s Platinum Stars.
Wadada, who had an exceptional display with offensive and defence balance, assisted the lone goal on the day on top of the crucial leadership mantle on the field of play.
In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports, he disclosed;
We have the belief that there is a lot to be played for in the return leg.
My self and the rest of the team believe that we have the potential to pull off a decent result away from home

The reigning Uganda Cup winners carry a goal advantage coming from last weekend’s 1-0 victory at the newly opened St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende courtesy of Milton Karisa at the onset of the second half.
Karisa was well stationed to head home a teasing cross from his team captain past the diving goalie Mbongeni Mzimela in the 46th minute.
Mbongeni later requested for a cap to shade himself from the sun reflection.

New team coach, Jorge Miguel Da Costa has already disclosed that his charges will not play a defensive game as they need to play a balanced game and secure qualification.
I have the best players in the world. They are determined and we shall seek for maximum points from the game.

Vipers resumed their training on Monday ahead of the weekend away trip that will see the two clubs lock horns at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenberg, South Africa on Saturday, 18th March 2017.
The team is expected to depart Uganda for South Africa on Friday.
