On colour Sports Club Villa Jogoo striker Emmanuel Arnold Okwi will skipper the Uganda Cranes regional tour team against Eastern Region this Sunday.

The development was confirmed by the Uganda Cranes assistant coach Moses Basena who released the names of the 23 summoned players during a press conference on Wednesday at Mengo in Kampala.

Okwi will captain the team for his experience and leadership abilities and he will be deputized by Savio Kabugo.

The intelligent forward is having rich vein of form that has seen amass 7 goals in seven outings since joining the Jogoos in the January transfer window from Danish side SønderjyskE .

The 23 man team has a couple of new faces that include Masavu defender Brian Mukasa, Allan Drajua (Kirinya-Jinja S.S), Mbarara City goalie Muhammed Ssekebba, Shafiq Kagimu (URA), Allan Anguy (Maroons) and Hudu Mulikyi of URA.

The team shall train on Friday at Namboole and depart on Saturday morning before training in Kamuli in the evening.
