Uganda Cup round of 16 draws (Wed, 15th March 2017)

The 16 remaining clubs in the Uganda Cup tournament will learn their respective opponents on Wednesday during a draw at FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala.

This was confirmed by the FUFA competitions department head Ali Mwebe in a statement to the media.

The draws for the round of 16 stage shall be held on Wednesday 15th March 2017 during the FUFA weekly press conference.

At the same time, we shall also hold the quarter final draws for the women F.A cup.

There are eight clubs from the top flight division (Azam Uganda Premier league), three in the regional league and five from the second division.

The winner of the Uganda Cup qualifies to represent the country at the CAF Confederation cup.

Vipers Sports Club  is the cup holder.

The remaining 16 clubs:

Top flight sides: KCCA FC, Express FC, Sadolin Paints, Onduparaka FC, Vipers S.C, JMC Hippos, Police, URA FC 1st (AUPL)

Regional league clubs: Kiboga Young (Buganda), Fort Portal Boda Boda (Kitara) and Kyetume (Buganda)

FUFA Big league clubs: Water, Baza Holdings FC, Kataka FC, Masavu FC and Paidha Black Angels 2nd (FUFA Big League)
