The draws for the 2017 Uganda Cup Round of 16 were successfully conducted on Wednesday at FUFA House, Mengo – Kampala.

FUFA Competitions Director, Ali Mwebe closely supervised the draws conducted by Ahmed Hussein.

The team pots were drawn by Harunah Tamale (FUFA Competitions Committee member), Mose Basena (Uganda Cranes assistant coach), Hussein Kheri (Head coach Paidha Black Angels), Anthony Afeti (CEO, Onduparaka), Ahmed Kongola (CEO, Water F.C), Edward Kulubya (CEO, URA F.C), Stuart Kimera (Sports Journalist) and Buganda region FUFA delegate and celebrated journalist Yusuf ‘Of Uganda’ Baliruno.

Reigning champions Vipers will host Kiboga Young at their newly opened St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

KCCA travels to the intimidating Nabini playground found in Bufumbo village, 12 km from Mbale town to take on Kataka.

Express hosts tricky FUFA Big League side Masavu at Wankulukuku.

At the Mehta Stadium in Lugazi, URA will entertain Jinja Municipal Councils Hippos.

Mwebe told the media that the matches will be held between 19th March till the end of month.

The team with the most goals in normal time shall progress to the quarter final stage. In case of a draw, penalties shall be taken to determine the match winner.

The finals of this year’s tournament will be held in the West Nile Region
