The success of the Uganda Corporate League over the past 15 years has witnessed a complete evolution and metamorphosis across the different regimes of administration.
From the primary game football, the league expanded to Athletics, Fun games, Darts, Pool, Swimming, Netball and Woodball (added in 2015), now a new sport – Golf has penetrated the menu.
Addressing journalists at Hotel Africana in Kampala during the launch of this year’s sports calendar, Richard Okot the chairperson of the Corporate League appreciated all the previous companies that have been taking part as he warmly ushered in the new ones.
It is a pleasure to announce that the Corporate League this year will return with a bang on 2nd April 2017 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Kampala.
Good enough, we have 11 new companies that have been admitted and a new sport – Golf.
