- Sunday, 19th March 2017:
- Eastern Region Select Vs Uganda Cranes , 4:00pm
- At Kamuli Town council play ground

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic believes the Eastern Region select side will pose a ‘challenge’ in Sunday’s regional tour match at Kamuli Town council play ground.
Micho, who was returning from a brief holiday in Ethiopia told Kawowo Sports after the Friday training session at Nelson Mandela National stadium that the Eastern Region is one of the most talented areas and expects a fair challenge.
The Eastern Region has a crop of talented players. We therefore expect a challenge, one that is good for the team ahead of next week’s international build up with Kenya and then, against the French Military team at Namboole.
20 players with the exception of three (Saddam Juma, Arafat Ggaliwango and Hood Kaweesa) turned up for training at Namboole where they held ball work and small sided games.

Micho hailed the players who turned up. Saturday training was held at the UCU playground in Mukono before traveling to Kamuli.
The team will spend the night in Kamuli and the match will take place on Sunday.
The tours are jointly sponsored by Uganda Cranes main sponsor Airtel Uganda Limited and partner Nile Breweries Limited under the flagship brand, Nile Special.
