Proline Football Club striker, Nelson Senkatuka was among the scorers for the Uganda Cranes team against Eastern Region select side at the Kamuli playground last Sunday.

The national team out muscled the select side 3-0 with Senkatuka opening the scoring before two other goals from Martin Kizza and the day’s captain Emmanuel Arnold Okwi sealed the victory.

Senkatuka has disclosed to Kawowo Sports that he eyes more appearances with the national team.

It remains a life time dream for any footballer to wear the treasured team jersey and play for the national side.

I want to work hard and continue being called to the team for more competitive games.

From the Uganda Cranes team that traveled to Kamuli, Micho had only selected one player (Emmanuel Okwi) for the international build up against Kenya this Thursday but Kizza replaced Ochaya on the team.

Senkatuka and the rest of the players remain optimistic they will selected against the team of French military team on Saturday.

The Proline striker has so far scored 5 goals in the Uganda Premier League this term.
