As the rest of the country is engaged in the national Copa zonal qualifiers in preparation for the regional finals, Northern Uganda too, has not been left out.
In Lira, the Zonal qualifiers have reached the semi-finals and finals slated for Sunday at Lango College playground in Lira Municipality.
On Saturday, favorites Comboni College required a 4-3 penalty victory to out muscle Unity College.
Normal time of this match had ended 3 goals apiece.
In the other matches, Bright Light whipped Mentor 4-1, Town College were 2-1 winners against Lango College and The Cranes required a 3-4 post match penalty victory to stop Doc.
The semi-final show down will witness Comboni take on The Crane as Bright Light plays Town College. Both games are on Sunday.
