Uganda Cup (Round of 16)

Sunday, 26th March 2017

  • Onduparaka 2-0 Water
  • Kyetume 1 (8) – 1 (9) Police

Ceasar Okhuti and Rashid Agau were on target as Onduparaka Football Club breezed past Water to the Uganda Cup quarter finals.

Following a goal-less first half, the game came to life when Okhuti netted the opener barely 15 minutes from time before Agau capped the icing on the cake with the second 13 minutes to the end of the game.

Onduparaka remains unbeaten at home in more than 3 years since its founding.

Elsewhere, Police progressed after ejecting Kyetume 9-8 on post match penalties.

Normal time of the game played at Nakisunga playground in Mukono had ended one goal apiece.

The quarter finalists so far are Express, URA, Paidha Black Angels, Vipers Sports Club, Sadolin Paints, Onduparaka and Police.

The remaining game involving KCCA and Kataka in Mbale will be played in April, on the 13th in Mbale.

Vipers S.C is the cup holder, a tag that earned them the rights to represented Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup.
