Unless there is a superficial miracle, Entebbe Football Club could be relegated from the FUFA Big League and play in the third division (Regional League) by the close of April.

The development follows their 2-0 loss to Sun City at the Nyakasanga playground in Kasese district.

The result meant that Sun City completed a double over Entebbe having also won the first leg 1-0 in Bugonga, Entebbe.

Sun City’s victory on Sunday helped them leapfrog Kataka and settle in the 8th place with 25 points from 20 games.

Entebbe remains second from bottom with just 17 points from 20 matches.

In the other Rwenzori Group game, Hope Doves lost 3-1 to Kireka United at the Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Bright Light and Artland-Katale played to a non scoring draw in Lira during the Elgon Group affair.

Three clubs shall be promoted to the top flight.

Masavu became the first team to secure qualification last week and Maroons is also on the verge of qualification with just a point to gaining direct promotion.
