Nzoia United, coached by former SC Villa striker Bernard Mwalala got the lead through Elvis Rupia before Ghanaian, Gilberto Faimenyo equalised for the Ingwe, managed by Briton, Stewart Hall.
Later in the game, Kateregga grabbed the winning goal for the Kenyan giants for the second league win in as many games.
Maximum points take the former Kenyan champions to second on 6 points, one adrift of leaders, Bandari but the Ingwe have a game in hand.
