Following a couple of postponements, the long awaited FUFA Level I football coaching course has started at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Monday.
The course is expected to be attended by close to 40 participants.
Participants will be taken through the elementary basics of coaching in theory and practical sessions having successfully completed the intermediary stage.
Joseph Mutaka, the director of the company organizing the course said;
If you stand for a reason be prepared to stand alone like a tree, If you fall on the ground, fall as a seed that grows to fight again. No one will derail me off what I best.
Instructors:
FUFA Education Officer Jackson Nyima, Technical Director Asuman Lubowa and the FUFA Women football development officer, Hadijah ‘Lady Mourinho’ Namuyanja will conduct the 6 days non residential course.
Uganda has close to 500 football coaches at least with the bare minimum of the elementary coaching skills.
