Days after being released from Luzira prison, some of Uganda Cranes Ex-internationals led by former skipper George Ssemwogerere and Daniel Walusimbi continue to cause havoc.

On Wednesday morning, the group once again attacked the Federation head quarters at Mengo in Kampala.

Following a scuffle, an armed police officer identified as Benard Ibanda ‘accidentally’ shot himself on the upper part of the leg with four bullets after a fight with Elasus Quadus and Walusimbi who wanted to force their way to federation head quarters,

FUFA communications manager, Ahmed Hussein declined to comment about what transpired but refereed the matter to Emilano Kayiima, the Police Spokesperson in Kampala and the neighboring areas.

FUFA has also issued an official statement to that effect;

Following the invasion of FUFA House on Wednesday morning by Dan Walusimbi and group, an unfortunate incident happened when a police officer got shot.

We would like to inform the football stakeholders that business is running normally at FUFA House and ready to serve you.

Walusimbi and Quodus have since since arrested.
