After guiding Masavu to the Uganda Premier League, coach Allan Kabonge Kivewala has reaped big.

The CAF ‘C’ certified coach has signed a three months deal with Buweekula Ssaza football team ahead of the kick off of this year’s Airtel Uganda sponsored Masaza tournament.

Initially linked to Singo, Kabonge accepted the terms and conditions at Buweekula before he put pen to paper.

An excited Kabonge who declined to reveal the financial details disclosed to Kawowo Sports that the main objectives among others include to win the maiden title for Buweekula, play entertaining football and to identify raw talent that could be of use to develop Uganda’s football.

We completed the talks that took sometime before I could sign the binding documents.

I want to help Buweekula win their first Masaza championship as well as play entertaining football ‘Kawowo’ for the fans.

The tournament has 19 teams named after counties of Buganda Kingdom.

Telecommunications giants, Airtel Uganda is now bankrolling the event that always draws masses on every single match day.

This year’s tournament will kick-off in May.

Buddu Ssaza is the defending champion.
