4 p.m: St Mary’s Kitende Vs Namboole High
All Quarterfinals will be played at St Mary’s College, Kisubi Main playground

St Mary’s Kitende are clear favourites ahead of their quarter final clash with Namboole High in Wakiso Copa qualifers at St Mary’s College, Kisubi playground on Friday evening.
Heading to the game, Kitende won all their Group C games with ease – scoring 20 goals as they only let in just a single goal (against St John’s Kazo).
Key players:
Spurred by Vipers’ trio of defender and captain Bashir Asiku, midfielder Frank ‘Zagga’ Tumwesigye and forward player Pius ‘Mzee’ Wangi, Kitende has the team leaders, inspirational players and intelligent crop in their side.
Also, gangly forward Brian Kalumba, scorer of a hat-trick against St John’s, goalie Eric Kibowa, crafty midfielder Ashraf Mugume, Abdul Watambala and roving right back Simon Kyobe are also other potential match winners for team Kitende.
Namboole High on the other hand has something to play for having finished second in Group B behind leaders St Julian.
St Mary’s Kitende and Namboole High fixture will be the last on the menu of the quarter finals lined up on Friday.
In the other quarter finals, St Julian takes on St John’s Kazo, Entebbe based Boston High plays Victoria High, Matugga and Buddo S.S will entertain Standard High school, Zana.
Only four schools will represent the region at the nationals in Masaka.
