Quarter finals:
- 9 a.m: St Julian Vs St John’s Kazo
- 11 a.m: Boston High Vs Victoria High, Matugga
- 2 p.m: Buddo S.S Vs Standard High Zana
- 4 p.m: St Mary’s Kitende Vs Namboole High
All Quarter finals will be played at St Mary’s College, Kisubi playground
If Boston High School defeats Victoria High from Matugga, they will become the first side ever from Entebbe Zone to play at the National Copa Schools’ football championship.
The winner of the 11:00am fixture will join the other three schools to represent Wakiso region at the 2017 championship in Masaka.
Boston High won five games and drew one (against London College, Nansana) in their Group A encounters.
Fred Mbaziira’s five individual goals against Namugongo Vocational proved Boston High are a team on mission during their 6-0 victory in the opener.
Joseph Eriyabu and Daniel Atya have been the other players on the Boston side which exceptional display thus far.
Hussein Mulawa, head coach at Boston High has the hope and belief that his side will progress provided they work as a team on the day.
We have come from far. I know with teamwork and the home support, the ball lies in our court to make history.
Victoria High finished second in Group D behind Buddo S.S.
Other quarter finals:
St Julian from Gayaza will play St John’s from Kazo in the opening quarter final.
Buddo S.S will entertain Standard High school, Zana at 2:00 p.m before the St Mary’s Kitende and Namboole High fixture which will be the last on the menu of the quarter finals lined up.
Only four schools will represent the region at the nationals in Masaka.
