St Mary’s Kitende and Vipers’ stylish midfielder Frank ‘Zagga’ Tumwesigye scored the lone strike of the day during his school’s slim 1-0 victory over Buddo secondary school at the Wakiso district head quarters play ground on Sunday evening.
In a well contested and cheered final, St Mary’s Kitende carried the day to claim the bragging rights over rivals Buddo.
Earlier Pius Wangi and Kenneth Kasozi each scored a brace in their 4-0 victory against Victoria High, Matugga in the semi-finals.
Buddo S.S had defeated St Julian Gayaza 3-0 in the second semi final.
All the four semi-finalists St Mary’s Kitende, Buddo S.S, Victoria High Matugga and St Julian, Gayaza will represent Wakiso at the Copa football finals in Masaka.
During the girls final, St. Noah overcame Entebbe Bunono based Taggy Girls 2-0 in the final.
