Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi 7-0 Bishop Stuart University

Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi registered the biggest score line so far in the 2017 University Football League (UFL) with a 7-0 drubbing of Bishop Stuart University from Mbarara at Nkozi, off the Kampala – Masaka Highway.
Striker Reuben Lubega led the goals galore with a well taken brace on the day.
Douglas Owori, Innocent Tumukunde (own goal), Livingstone Mbigo, Emmanuel Kamya and Jacob Owora were the other scorers on target for Shafiq Bisaso’s coached side.
Owori opened the scoring as early as the 7th minute off a teasing cross from Lubega to give the home side something to build on.

Tumukunde then diverted the ball into his own net for the second goal a minute to the quarter hour mark before Lubega and Mbigo got the other two goals the half time mark as the home side comfortably led 4-0 heading to the break.
In the second half, Lubega, Kamya and Owora completed the rout for the biggest score line of the season so far.
This was the second victory for UMU having defeated Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) away 2-1 in the opener.
In the same group, Kyambogo had defeated Bishop Stuart 5-0 in Kampala.
The league resumes this Wednesday.
