Uganda Cup 2016/17:

Quarter final: URA 1 (5) – 1 (6) Express

Round of 16: Kataka 2-5 KCCA

Express Football Club has ejected Uganda Revenue Authority  out of the Uganda Cup.

The Red Eagles came from a goal down to force the game into extra time following a one all draw in normal time at the Mehta Stadium on Tuesday.

This was during the quarter final match, the third on the Uganda Cup rooster.

Allan Munaaba gave the tax collectors the lead after the opening half was goal-less.

Mahad Kakooza made amends with the equalizer four minutes to full time to force the game to extra minutes.

The 30 added minutes were still all square before the match went to penalties.

Express progressed 6-5, becoming the third side to reach the semi finals after Sadolin Paints and FUFA Big league side Paidha Black Angels.

On the same day, KCCA whipped Kataka 5-2 in Mbale in the round of 16 tie.

Police will now host KCCA at Nelson Mandela National stadium in the quarter finals.
