- UCU Lady Cardinals Vs Olila S.S – UCU Main Campus, Mukono
- Mutesa I Royal University Vs Gafford Ladies – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku
Matches will be played in the first week of May
There will be a final before the main final when the semifinal clashes of the inaugural FUFA Women’s Cup gets underway early May.
Mutesa I Royal University shall play host to Gafford Ladies at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium in an epic clash that is too unpredictable.
In the other semifinal, UCU Lady Cardinals will take on Olila S.S at the UCU Main Campus in Mukono.
This was after draw held on Wednesday at FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala witnessed by the FUFA Competitions Director Ali Mwebe, Chris Kalibala (Chairman FUFA Women’s committee), communications manager Ahmed Hussein and media personalities.
Mwebe reminded the teams of the competition rules at this stage;
The FUFA Women’s Cup being a development competition and the first of its kind, we shall not play home and away. There will be extra time played in the event the matches end in a stalemate after normal time. In case of a tie, spot kicks will be taken to determine the winner
The dates for these matches ear marked are within the first week of May 2017.
The final match of the FUFA Women’s Cup shall be played in Busia later in May.
