For the second time this year, Ugandan sports journalists converged to put their brains to work in a sports quiz at Route 256 bar in Kampala Wednesday evening.
Team Agosto, captained by Capital FM’s Brian Tuka, edged the four other sides to win for the second time this year having won the inaugural event in January.
The competition attracted four media teams and a guest team from the Uganda Olympic Committee.
The quiz, organized by former contestant for the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) presidency Leon Ssenyange, is expected to take place more regularly as one of the ways of interacting and sharing ideas.
Winners took home a cash prize, hampers from sponsors.
Format
The teams were tasked to answer questions in four rounds.
The first two rounds allowed the teams to use any gadget to access information while the third, where phones and other gadgets were prohibited, involved selecting the most correct answer from the given objectives.
The last round had each team selecting a representative to answer a trivia question.
