The Uganda Premier League secretariat has confirmed the adjustment of two fixtures featuring Vipers with Soana as well as Onduparaka against Sadolin Paints.

According to a statement released to the media by the Uganda Premier League Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bernard Bainamani Bampaire, the two matches new dates have been duly changed on request of the home clubs.

Vipers requested that their home game against Soana be brought forward by 24 hours from Saturday 21st April to Friday 20th April 2017 because of the engagement of their St. Mary’s stadium on Saturday.

Bainamani contended;

Their request (Vipers) has been granted.

In the same vein, Onduparaka’s home game that was supposed to be played on Friday, 20th April 2017 has been shifted forward by 24 hours to Saturday, 21st April 2017.

“The venue remains Green Light stadium but the time of kick off has been shifted from 4:30 p.m to 4 p.m,” Bainamani added.

Onduparaka has been one of the revelations of the season since the league kick off last year.

After 24 games played, they have amassed 37 points as they lie 5th on the 16 team log.
