Olivier Van Pee is impressed by his motocross improvement following his third place finish during the first round of FIM Africa Central Motocross Championship that took place on Easter Sunday at Busiika.
Olivier only returned to competitive racing early this year.
“I have really improved on my pace since I rejoined the sport and I believe I will be much better after the next two events. I will keep on trying as much as I can to get much better,” he said.
Elder brother to MX1 champion Maxime Van Pee, Olivier was equally impressed with the improvements in Ugandan MX team.
“I am glad my brother won in MX1 after such a tight battle with Ngugi. And also other riders that managed to collect some points for Uganda.”
“We now pray that we all remain united as the Motocross family and we shall be assured of better things in this sport we love most,” he added.
Olivier has finished third in all the last two national Motocross events he has participated in.
