Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA) has postponed the annual general meeting that was slated for Saturday April 22 at the Uganda Olympic Offices in Lugogo.
“We regrettably inform you that the FUBA AGM that was scheduled to take place tomorrow the 22nd day of April 2017 has been postponed to the 6th day of May 2017 at 9:00 AM at UOC offices. We apologize for the inconvenience caused,” read a message from the federation on Friday.
Federation Vice President in charge of Administration, Nasser Sserunjoji, revealed that the postponement couldn’t be avoided as the audited books were not ready.
Activities on the FUBA calendar started early in the year with the national teams taking part at the Zone V tournament in Cairo, Egypt and the Friday Night Lights basketball that ended this month.
The inaugural FUBA Easter Cup was also concluded on Easter Monday while the lower division games are already underway.
The National Basketball League, which was earlier slated for April 21 will now tip-off on May 19.
