Villa Oromchan notched a brace as Bul increased their chances of surviving relegation with a 2-1 win over rivals Lweza on Saturday at Kakindu Stadium, Jinja.

Oromchan, formerly at URA put the hosts in the driving seat in 42nd minute before extending the lead with his second of the day in the 74th minute.

Former KCCA midfielder Owen Kasule pegged one back for the visitors in the 81st minute, but it was a little too late for his side to stage any kind of a comeback.

The result means since earning promotion to top flight in 2014, Lweza have failed to beat the Jinja outfit, losing five times now while drawing just once. That draw came in the reverse fixture last year in December at Wankulukuku when the game ended goalless.

Victory moves Bul three places up to 10th dislodging Police on goal difference. Lweza meanwhile remain glued at the bottom three with 25 points.
