As of April 26th 2017, United States based Ugandan professional golfer Willy Deus Kitata had played in six tournaments.
In four of these, he had made the cut to share the lump sum of cash on the offer.
Twice, he narrowly missed making the cut.
On Friday, Kitata takes to the Tee-box as the Wells Fargo PGA tour swings off at the Gastonia country club.
A week later, he will take part in the US Open qualifier at the Club Admiral Cover Jupiter in Florida before winding up a busy month with the Rex Hospital Open on club Grandover Resort, North West Carolina at the end of May.
Kitata is optimistic he will perform to the best of his expectations
I have trained well in the past couple of weeks. I look forward performing well since I have made the cut at 4 of the 6 tournaments this year.
The Florida-based golfer hints on the improving upon his personal round score of 3 under par 68
I have played 68 gross twice and I look forward to bettering the score in these three tournaments. My team and I we work so hard to make the dream come true.

Kitata left for the US after winning the prestigious Uganda Open in 2014.
