Portuguese Coach Jorge Miguel Duarte Da Costa says striker Tony Odur is a player like any other on the Vipers team but says his recent surge form is simply because of restoration of confidence.

Odur took his tally of the season to eleven with a winner against URA, his fourth in the previous three games.

“Odur is a player like the other ones before,” replied the Portuguese when asked about the forward. “But I think what was lacking then for him was confidence probably he was having a bad time,” he added.

Miguel has fielded the ex-KCCA and Express striker since the Police FC tie and says strikers live for goals and it’s what Odur is enjoying at the moment.

“Of course if a player isn’t playing, it’s bad but of course a striker lives for goals, if you don’t play and score, it’s not easy for a striker.
