With the Africa Cup looming, teams are in the final touches preparing for the busy schedule that starts June.

Kenya national team, the Kenya Simbas, will hold a week-long camp in South Africa ahead of the 2017 international season.

The team is expected to hold a 10 day residential camp in the South African town Cape Town, from 11th–21st May.

The Simbas are also expected to play some matches with local based sides in a bid to get into shape ahead of the hectic series of matches.

Kenya already have line-up a high profile test with Germany on May 27 in Nairobi before coming to Kampala for the first leg of Elgon Cup on Saturday June 10.

Jerome Paarwater’s charges will start their Rugby Africa Gold Cup campaign with successive home fixtures against Uganda (24 June), Tunisia (8 July) and Senegal (15 July) before playing away to Zimbabwe (22 July) and Namibia (29 July).
