Gor Mahia coached by Brazilian ex-International Ze Maria sit second on the 18-team log with 16 points, two positions and points above the Ingwe.

The Brief about the derby

It is the oldest rivalry in Kenyan football. Fans, officials and players of both teams – nicknamed K’Ogalo (Gor Mahia) and Ingwe (AFC Leopards) hate each other for dead and the games usually end in disaster.

The Sunday meeting will be the 83rd between the sides – AFC Leopards hold edge with 28 wins against Gor Mahia’s 24 while 30 matches have been drawn.

The first meeting came on May 05, 1968.
