Hamis Muwonge scored twice for Bulemeezi Ssaza in their 2-0 win against newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Maroons at the barren and dusty Kasana stadium in Luwero on Wednesday.
This was the second friendly match for Bulemeezi ahead of the start of the Airtel Buganda Masaza football tournament which kicks off officially on Saturday, 13th May 2017.
For the Maroons, the game was a perfect preparatory mechanism ahead of their Big league grand finale against Masavu coming this Sunday at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium.
Earlier, Bulemeezi had also outwitted Ggaba United, a Kampala regional side 1-0.
Mike Weeraga scored for Bulemeezi in the aforementioned match.
According to the publicity secretary of Bulemeezi, more build ups are planned for the team to test the various player combinations and see which players are set for the big show down.
We are impressed by the performance of the team so far. We shall continue to play more build up matches as we test out the players.
This Saturday, Bulemeezi plays host to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club at Kasana play ground.
Winners of the tournament in 2012, Bulemeezi eyes their second trophy under Gerald Ssenkungu.
