Sadolin Paints Football Club management has suspended their coaching duo of Simon Kirumira and Abdulsamandu Musafiri.

The decision to suspend the coaches was confirmed by the club management committee on Friday evening.

On Saturday morning, top club officials were still engaged in an indoor crisis meeting for the way forward.

Kawowo Sports established that some of the resolutions tabled was to have interim coaches Kenneth Magada and Peter Ssengonzi carry the mantle until the end of the season.

“After the meeting, we decided that Magada and Ssengonzi carry on for the reminder of the season. We have three league matches and still in the Uganda Cup” club Chairperson, Joseph Opio stated.

This precipitates from a string of inconsistent results that leaves the painters embedded in a serious fight against relegation with three games left on the rooster.

The latest slip was on Friday evening at their Nelson Mandela National stadium when they succumbed to a 2-0 loss to The Saints with striker Julius Malingumu and roving right back Aggrey Kirya scoring for Moses Basena’s coached side.

With three games left on the UPL rooster, Sadolin Paints has managed just 26 points from 27 games.

This means that the up-coming matches against BUL, KCCA and Express are all must win if they are to stand of any chance of playing in the top flight next season.

Sadolin Paints players rest out on Saturday as the club training returns on Sunday at NARO-Ntawo playground in Seeta.

They also travel to Zombo where they will take on Paidha Black Angels on 13th May 2017 in the first leg of the Uganda Cup.
